About the Firm

Mercury Law PLLC is a boutique law firm based in New York City, handling complex transactional, litigation, and advisory matters for small and mid-size businesses and their owners.

Nicholas Rogers, the firm's founder and principal attorney, graduated with honors from University of Minnesota Law School before beginning his practice with a large international law firm in Washington, D.C. He later joined a trial firm in Minneapolis before leaving the law for several years to co-found and serve as president of a Major League Soccer team.

In 2021, Nicholas relocated to New York City and resumed his legal practice. He quickly discovered that his experience running a small business and managing outside counsel distinguished him from other practitioners. He started Mercury Law to serve small to medium-sized companies and their owners across a range of industries, offering both transactional guidance and sophisticated dispute resolution when business relationships require careful navigation or restructuring.

Nicholas is admitted to practice in New York, Minnesota, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
